Cyromazine is systemic insecticide with  contact & stomach action. Its a selective insecticide used on a broad range of vegetable crops. It acts by inhibiting the moulting processes, particularly in Dipteran insects. Cyromazine is a triazine IGR & acts systematically and penetrates quickly into the leaves. It specifically controls leaf miners. its rain fast due to quick penetration into the leaves & suitable for soil application where it is absorbed by the roots.Its belongs to a chemical class, which has no known resistance issues & safe to parasitic wasps and predaceous mites. It fits in well with IPM programs and has low mammalian toxicity, so there is no risk to spray operators.
