Brodifacoum is a coumarin anticoagulant Rodenticide. This Rodenticide can be used to control warehouse, agricultural and domestic mice.
Brodifacoum is a vitamin K1 cycle inhibitor and prevents blood clotting, causing internal bleeding and gradual death of rodents.
Place the Rodenticide in a location that is accessible only to the target mice and will not contaminate food or water. When baiting, it is recommended to cover the bait with a box or special bait tubes (made of plastic or clay).
To eliminate mice in agricultural fields and gardens, place the prepared rat bait at the entrance to the mice nest. In warehouses and workshops, as well as residential environments, you can place the prepared bait at appropriate distances of 30 cm from each other on the way to and from the entrance to the mice nest so that the mice are attracted to it and feed on it.
In farms, livestock farms, covered areas, etc., baiting should be done in a plastic tube or tunnel trap and inspection and baiting should continue until the Rodenticide is consumed by the rodents.
This Rodenticide has a delayed poisoning effect and will cause the rodent to die within a few days.
After consuming the bait, the remains of the bait should be collected and burned.
This Rodenticide should not be used in open spaces.
Gloves should be used for baiting, otherwise the rodents will not consume them.
In order to prevent secondary poisoning, the carcasses of dead mice should be collected and buried.
